“Five stars. The second visit was even better than the first! Same server, same great service. My birthday dinner was 14 Oz of medium rare NY steak bliss with roasted garlic mashed potatoes which was complimented nicely with a glass of '06 Avalon Cab. My lady had the special macadamia crusted mahi mahi with mashed potatoes and we finished it all off with some kind of chocolate cookie-brownie topped with vanilla ice cream desert which was fantastic. Easily the best steakhouse in the greater Sacramento area. Quick tip: Take the whole, roasted garlic clove and use your fork to squeeze out the goodness and then mix it in with your mashed potatoes.”

“Finally Historic Folsom has a destination restaurant. My wife and I have been there several times since they opened, every visit equals pure bliss. Almost every business claims that they have "world class service", Sutter Street Steakhouse delivers. The food is always fresh, and a good value. I have no idea what they do to their stakes but by far the best I've had in a long, long time. Just the right amount of smoke and cooked to perfection. Cutting into the meat starts the flow of natural juices, then just before removing that bite from the plate the meat absorbs the juices back. How? I don't know nor do I care, I just had the greatest bit of food ever. That was my wife's plate. I don't know why but I always order the fish. Just go there you won't be disappointed.”

“Captivating views of the American River, white tablecloths, leather-encased booths, and an impressive 1,000+ wine tower sure to make even the most seasoned wine connoisseur a bit insecure.”
“The room is attractive, in a new building made to fit with the surrounding old stock. It's a big, bold room, but there's a feeling of elegance, and a sense of fun instead of pretentiousness, from the lively open kitchen to the stylish bar.”
“We are thrilled to have finished in the Top 5 for Best Steakhouse in the Sacramento area.”
“Walking in at 6 p.m. on a Tuesday evening to find 70 percent of the tables filled really spoke volumes. You are met with an elegant high ceiling loft-style feel, comfy tables and a stunning wine room. The restaurant offers a fantastic view, outdoor dining, a nice private room for small groups, and a cozy bar.”
“Can you believe this effort has been going on 9 years now? The great thing about this contest is that there's always a great new business around the corner.”
